Anyone who reads, scrolls or eats breakfast in bed knows the routine: stack two pillows, lean back, feel them slip, stack them again. Recline™ ends that routine. It is a full-width triangular wedge, about 150 cm across, that sits between the mattress and the headboard like a bank of soft upholstery, with a tufted face deep enough to hold the shoulders and the lower back together. The angle keeps you at a natural sitting recline, the side pocket keeps a phone within reach, and afterwards it stays where it is and makes the bed look finished. It works against a hard headboard, a metal frame or a bare wall.

Unzip the cover, machine wash it cool and air dry. Between washes, plump the core by hand and air it in the shade.

Does it fit my bed?

It is about 150 cm wide, so it runs edge to edge on a queen bed and sits neatly centred on a king. It goes between the mattress and the headboard, or against the wall if there is no headboard.

Is it firm enough to lean on properly?

Yes. The core is supportive foam and fibre, so it keeps its triangular shape under your full weight and does not swallow you the way a soft pillow does.

Will it slide about?

Its own weight and the pressure of the mattress keep it where it is. A stack of pillows can shift; this has nowhere to go.

Is it washable?

The whole cover unzips and goes in the machine on a cool wash. Air dry it and zip it back on: ten minutes for a fresh backrest.

What is the pocket for?

It is a side sleeve sized for a phone, reading glasses or the remote, the things that would otherwise disappear into the duvet.

What packaging is used?

It arrives compressed in a compact box. Unbox it, give the core a day and plump it a few times, and it rises to a full wedge.
